Georgia
O'Keeffe inspires us as much with the Spirit of her Life
as with the Excellence of her Art.
This hands-on + Tour combination is designed for
O'Keeffe fans who feel a connection with this enigmatic woman
and who would like an informal way to immerse themselves for a day
in her Life, Landscape, and Art. We will walk in
her footsteps in the inspiring land which changed her way
of seeing forever. Mornings are spent sketching and photographing
the landscape
she loved, while afternoons
are reserved for experiencing many aspects of her life.
Please feel free to call us about this workshop.
We love to chat about our classes.
Stand in her footsteps at many
of her exact painting sites.
THE LAWRENCE TREE / THE WHITE PLACE / PEDERNAL
THE BLACK PLACE / GHOST RANCH / CROSSES / THE RANCHOS CHURCH.
We can also arrange a tour of her home in Abiquiu.
Share the Inspiration of Georgia O’Keeffe, and the Land she Loved, with a knowledgeable leader.
Your guide for this day is the founder of the Taos Art School, Ursula Beck. While living in New Mexico for 25 years she immersed herself in Georgia O'Keeffe lore and is enthusiastic about sharing with you.

painted many, many times. When asked if she thought she owned it,
she said: "Well, God told me if I painted it enough, I could have it."
